As with all Garrett planners, we work on a Fee-Only basis and have no minimum requirements for the scope of the engagement, net worth or assets under management. We sell no products nor do we receive commissions from third parties. We offer objective advice for a fee, to people from all walks of life.
We work with clients to build long-term relationships, just as many people do with other professionals such as doctors, lawyers and accountants. We want to get to know you and be there for you, long term. We will help you get on track and, most importantly, guide you as future conditions require. Financial planning is a lifetime process and we want to be there with you for the journey.
MWA planning is conducted by credentialed professionals who are subject to the rigorous requirements of the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) and The American College. These requirements include post graduate education, successful completion of the ten-hour comprehensive CFP® examination, the NAPFA peer review process and rigorous ongoing continuing education.
In addition to financial planning services, MWA also provides asset management services to those clients who would need and request this service. We develop customized portfolios that are geared to each client’s needs and situation. We carefully assess each client’s risk tolerance and balance the risk/return dimensions of portfolios to best meet our clients’ specific financial objectives. We also offer proprietary managed accounts that are provided exclusively by MWA. All asset management services are provided on a Fee-Only basis.
